Some Resources to Help You Start Bringing the Power of Notion to Your Inbox

We're excited to help you bring the power of Notion to your inbox. Below, you'll find a set of resources to guide you through the setup process, including a quick video tour and step-by-step instructions.

How to Get Started with Inbox2Action (3 min video)

Step by Step Instructions:

Step 1: Install Inbox2Action

Start here to install Inbox2Action or get it directly from the Chrome Webstore

Step 2: Sign in or Sign up for Inbox2Action with your Notion account

A. Click on the Inbox2Action logo at the top of your Gmail inbox


B. Login with your Notion account:

C. Choose the Notion Workspace you'd like to use with this account

D. 'Select Pages' to choose which Notion pages and Databases you'd like to use with Inbox2Action i.e. Tasks, Ultimate Brain, LifeOS, To Read List, etc.

To start, you only need one, choose as many as you need - Tasks is a good place to start!

Step 3: Success! We're now syncing your Inbox2Action

Syncing will start automatically after selecting your database and may take a few minutes depending on how many databases you selected to add to Inbox2Notion. Thanks for your patience!

Step 4: Let's Add Your First Email to Notion πŸ“§

A. Choose an email from your Inbox that you'd like to add to Notion

B. Click the Inbox2Action icon we've added to your email toolbar.


You'll find it right above where you usually take action on emails, like Archive, Delete, Snooze, and more. Right next to it, you'll now see the Inbox2Notion action button.


C. Choose where you want to save this first email i.e. Tasks

D. Select your properties in the Settings page i.e. Status, Due Date, Additional Properties and you are ready to go.

Step 5: Enjoy the Power of Notion in Your Inbox

A. Set your status, due date, assignees and any other details...

B. See your properties represented as labels in the inbox!
